Our founder, Derrel Bebee, is a Marine Corps veteran whose bravery was tested in the jungles of Vietnam. Serving as a machine gunner, Derrel was part of Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marines from 1967 to 1968. He then served in the Supply 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marines from 1968 to 1969, during his service, he endured the harrowing battle of Foxtrot Ridge. His mission—relieving Foxtrot Company and reclaiming the ridge from the NVA—was a testament to his courage and dedication under fire.
Throughout his six years of service, including his time from 1970 to 1973 in the Inactive Marine Reserves, Derrel’s commitment never wavered. He is a recipient of the Purple Heart, an honor reflecting the sacrifices he made and the hardships endured. Many of Derrel’s comrades made the ultimate sacrifice, both in Vietnam and back home, and their memory continues to inspire our work.
We at DVOSB LLC are profoundly thankful for Derrel’s service to our country. His experiences have shaped our values and our dedication to excellence. Oorah! Semper Fi!
